I'll dominate 'serious fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua
The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the pair met personally to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Former two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of the sport's biggest financial successes, regularly earning massive paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the usual face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
