The search involved a home in the state of Washington associated with the alleged gunman, Afghan national Rahmanullah Lakanwal, who authorities stated was a member of a CIA-backed unit in Afghanistan before arriving in the United States in the year 2021 under a relocation scheme.
FBI agents seized numerous electronic devices from the residence, including cellphones, notebook computers, and Apple devices, and questioned his kin, the head of the FBI Patel stated during a media update.
